Sensei M. Arief Farizi started practicing Aikido in April 2006 and obtained the 1st Dan level in December 2009. He has been in charge of and responsible for the teaching and learning process of Aikido for both children's and adult classes at the Dago dojo since March 2011.

Apart from teaching Aikido, Sensei M. Arief Farizi also has experience as a teacher in the academic field. Sensei M. Arief Farizi has good English skills. Since 2008, Sensei M. Arief Farizi has been teaching English at one of the schools and universities in Bandung. His profession as a teacher helps him implement a training pattern that is educative and fun, but still full of discipline.

Other martial arts experience that Sensei M. Arief Farizi has besides Aikido is karate. Sensei M. Arief Farizi is a brown kyu 1 karate shotokan belt holder at Lemkari College and has trained for 3 years. Other martial arts that he has been involved in are Judo and Tae Kwon Do. Experience in various types of martial arts helped him to explore martial arts more comprehensively.
